"Helpful physiotherapy services"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Physiotherapy University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I want to express my deep thanks for the exceptional treatment I as given by Mhairi who is a Physiotherapist at Wishaw General Hospital after I had fallen and fractured my humerus bone in several places. She worked on it relentlessly with great patience and she was so personable and remembered every detail of my progress. As a result I now have full use of my arm despite the severity of the break. It has left me feeling in awe of physiotherapists.

I was also more recently in Wishaw general for surgery. The level of care by everyone was exceptional. It was here I met Elaine also a Physiotherapist. She was very helpful in explaining exercises for aftercare and why they are needed. Her manner was excellent and her advice was crystal clear. She answered many questions and was very reassuring, again reinforcing my view of the Physiotherapy services at Wishaw General. Thank you NHS you are wonderful.

Dear Wonderful NHS

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments. Great to hear that you have managed what sounds to be a full recovery following your injury. I am delighted that you have had a good experience of physiotherapy. I will ensure that your kind comments are passed on personally to Mhairi and Elaine. I hope you continue to keep well.

Thanks again

Claire Rae
