I have CF and was admitted to Royal Brompton Hospital, Foulis Ward in January because I had a bad lung infection.
I have attended RBH for many years and I can honestly say, I don't think I would be here without them.
The medical care is second to none, many of the staff have been there for a long time which is a testament to the hospital and it means continuity of care and a familiar face for patients which is very comforting when you are feeling so ill.
Foulis Ward is spotlessly clean and is run with incredible efficiency. The nurses I met were very professional but also friendly and always had time to say hello. The food is pretty good as well, the home made soups are excellent. I cannot fault this hospital in any way nor would I wish to.
As a final note, after treatment my lung function had improved by 20%. Thank you to RBH staff and the National Health Service.
"Excellent hospital in every way"
