"Good care and service"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Sexual Health

(as a service user),

Attended drop in family planning clinic in Hunter Health Centre in East Kilbride. I was given good service from receptionist, who explained clearly what I had to do, given it was my first appointment. She answered all my questions with consideration and kindness. Then at my appointment the doctor was exceptional in her compassion. I was very anxious and she reassured me throughout. I felt safe and looked after. The support worker in attendance was also very caring in her approach.

The whole experience left me feeling very satisfied, looked after and reassured.

Dear Happyuser

It is rewarding to receive positive feedback from our service users. I am glad attending the family planning clinic in Hunter Health Centre was a good experience for you. As you say attending a service for the first time can be a bit daunting especially as family planning issues can be hard to discuss. It is good to hear all staff you met were helpful and made you feel welcome and supported you through your appointment.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments and again I am pleased your visit to the family planning clinic was a pleasant experience for you.

Best wishes

Cathy Courtney
