"Stunned"

After waiting 8 months for an assessment I'm at a loss to think this "service" can be run like this.

I have severe issues after an unbelievable run of near death life changing events. I have completed numerous courses of Cbt. I am on medication that needs the help of a psychologist to modify due to the level of my situation.

I'm told I don't meet the criteria. And even if I did there's a further 10 month wait.

I have pinned so much on this appointment and am so very let down. No idea where to go from here. Thank goodness I have support. I dread to think how someone in my position would react to this.
