About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

I was in induced at Forth Valley Royal hospital. After a while, I ended up having an emergency c section. The midwives, student midwives, surgical team, auxiliary nurses, catering staff & cleaning staff were amazing. I cannot fault them. Nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated my partner and were always on hand to help and reassure.

These people never seem to get the praise they deserve. Thanks to them all, my baby boy was delivered safely and looked after well, as was I. Cannot thank them enough at ward 7 & 8. Thank you so much.

Congratulations on the birth of your little boy. I hope you are taking things easy and recovering from your c. section and that your little boy isn’t giving you too many sleepless nights!

It was fantastic to read your posting, such praise for the staff caring for you, your partner and new baby. Team work is essential and it is great to hear that by working together everyone in the team helped make your experience a really good one.

I will share your thanks with everyone in ward 7 and 8; the surgical team and housekeeping staff; I know they will be really pleased to read it.

Once again congratulations and best wishes to you and your partner for all the fun, joy and exciting times your wee boy will bring.
