"Left feeling let down"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I have been referred by my gp to see a doctor.

After waiting half an hour after my appointment was scheduled I saw the dr, I received no apology for the lateness. I was refused nhs treatment by the dr and told to go private. I refuse to accept that a hospital the size of Blackpool Victoria could not resolve my issue.

I was honest and upfront with this dr about my condition but I found the way they handled my already sensitive problem to be unacceptable. I asked for a review of my condition when some more test results were received but was refused treatment and told to get my private practitioner to do the further tests.

I have paid into the tax system all my life. Certain areas of Bvh do an excellent job but is let down by others.

I was v disappointed with the service I received from this dr. After researching this dr I see they works also for Spire private hospital.
