What I liked
The reception Staff at the Rainbow Unit where I had to attend for a bloodtest were friendly and helpful
Anything else?
Over the last few months I have had to have several bloodtests. All of them up until the one on Friday 19th Feb, I have no compaint with, infact the staff were very helpful and friendly. The one on the 19th was the most unfriendly time I have ever spent in a hospital dept. The nurse that did my test, was very abrupt, rude and I would say ignorrant.I tried to make converstation with the nurse and be friendly, but they ignored me completely apart from barking orders as to where to put my coat and which arm I had to make available. I'm just glad that I don't mind having needles, if I'd been afraid they would have made things much much worse. If the nurse was having a bad day, they should have left their attitude and bad temper at the door and not take it out on the patients.I feel they shouldn't be in that kind of job if they are going to treat people like that. (I was not the only one that was barked at!!) And to top it all they left me with a very large bruise that hurt !!
