Wonderful caring staff- what an incredible difference from the treatment in a hospital. instead of rushing around trying to fix my mum (she had terminal cancer and was not given any treatment). st josephs was staffed with some of the most exceptionally warm and supportive nurses I've ever met and it was the best place my mum could have been in this horrid situation. The visitors are cared for as the patient, we were able to sleep in a spare room in my mum's last days, we were offered bereavement counselling (which continues after the death) and simple things like the lovely restaurant serving comfort food. without st j's this would have been a lot harder for my family. support st josephs, an incredible place!
