"hernia opperation"

About: Manor Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had a hernia operation last April at the manor hospital

it was meant to be remove n repair and was told to take things

easy for 6 to 8 weeks which I did but on the 9th week I bent down to pick up a toy for my daughter and it popped again and now I cant push it back in

plus also in a lot more pain than I was

Thank you for your feedback - I am sorry that you had a problem during your post-surgery recovery. Have you consulted your GP regarding a re-referral for an opinion?

It may also be a suggestion that you contact the secretary of the operating surgeon to arrange a review.

hi thanks for response I will call tomoz as I'm not a happy bunny n it has put me off going for any more opps as this was meant to be done so I can get my health back n I have been in a lot of pain I feel I should be compensated for it not working and the way I was treated while in hospital eg being left on nil by mouth for 2 days n no food for 3 days
