From the time of seeing the consultant my treatment was professional with my fears being dealt with in a compassionate and clear manner. On arrival on the day of treatment

I was greeted at reception with efficiency and quickly escorted into the reception/preparation area for the eye surgery. The nursing staff on the day of the eye procedure to remove a cataract were excellent. I was treated with dignity and in a friendly manner throughout.

When I was discharged by the nursing staff everything was explained about how I would be feeling later and what I needed to do in the coming weeks. This was backed up by the provision of all the information in written form along with the prescription eye drops. The hospital is well organised and equipped to make patients feel at ease and calm. If a visit to hospital can be a pleasant experience then
