I was referred to the cats team at Highbury hospital in December, I didn't get an appointment until April which then got moved to June and then further changed to July. Because I rang and complained that much they moved me back to my original appointment for April. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people got worse before getting seen by this department with how long the wait is. After waiting this long, the doctor I had was one of the most patronising people I've ever met, I feel as though I was not listened to in the slightest, the doctor didn't try to connect in anyway sat at the computer typing what I was saying word for word, I understand they have to summarise what it is I'm saying but, he didn't ask about me and my issues without typing instantly. I was massively misdiagnosed from a 10 minute conversation, I feel very dissatisfied with my appointment and now have to wait another month to see how I'm getting on with the medication I was given. I feel fobbed off with medication and no actual help at all, he was very unclear about what will happen next I feel even further pushed back with my problems now.
