"My hearing is now completely gone"

About: NHS Lothian

(as the patient),

Hello I have just been referred to Bathgate medical Practice for removal of ear wax in both ears. Went to see a community nurse in Bathgate on Friday and was unable to have the water syringe due to myself having a cleft palate.

Since getting up Saturday morning I am now completely deaf in both ears. And I'm really beginning to struggle with things. I have to say I totally respect anyone who is permanently deaf.

I was wondering if I could be seen urgently if possible. It's now a Bank Holday tomorrow so will ask my daughter to phone the doctors first thing on Tuesday and hopefully speak to Dr Kelch from Kingsgate Medical Practice who has just referred me. But I'm now finding it really difficult. Am applying oil to both ears to try and soften wax. But hearing is now completely gone. Look forward for hearing from you asap. Thanks
