"My wife being treated for AML in ward 41"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Clinical haematology

(as a relative),

My wife was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, and we were devastated by the news when we were informed of it, but she has been undergoing treatment by Dr Hodgson and her team, she was moved to ward 41 and I have to say that I'm so impressed beyond words as to how well my wife was treated with such love and care, she was made to feel very comfortable and they helped overcome all her fears through her treatment so far, I would like to thank every member of the staff for they're love and care they gave to my wife, our journey is still tough, a long way to go, but I'm sure we will get through this fine and positively beat the disease. God bless all in ward 41 and a special thank you to Dr Hodgson and her team.
