"First-rate cardiac care"

I was lucky enough to be offered a cancellation slot for an ablation at the Victoria, Blackpool. From start to finish, the quality of care I received from the whole team was outstanding and I am still marvelling at (what seems like magic) my steady heartbeat! The theatre team were friendly, reassuring and thorough, giving me total peace of mind during the ablation. After the procedure I was monitored regularly and felt very well taken care of in the ward. As my recovery from the operation went so smoothly I was pleased to be allowed home the same day and so far have had no discomfort or problems. I might add that there was absolutely no pressure for me to leave the same day (the bed shortage issue being very topical at present!) and it was entirely my own preference to recover at home. I am so grateful to have had the choice and felt trusted to manage my own recovery.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Victoria to anybody and cannot thank you enough for your efficiency and first class care. Fay Collins
