What I liked

The friendly and warm welcome as well as the professionalism of all the staff I was in contact with. The hospital is the cleanest and best maintained I have seen and I have been in.

The aftercare from follow up appointments to physio care was second to none. Every step of my operation and care was explained in great detail by every member of staff. I particularly liked the way everyone worked as a team and appeared to get on well with each other and were equally valued.

What could be improved

Nothing that I could say could improve on what is amongst the best hospital care I have ever recieved.

Anything else?

I have had three major operations on the same knee in the space of 12 months,treatment is still ongoing.However,without Barlborough I am not sure what physical condition my leg would be in.

I feel that if this facility is lost, the people who would benefit like I have, would have to suffer unecessary waiting list and discomfort. The hospital is obviously a great success as some of the patients I met were from all different counties and all would recommend Barborough to anyone.I feel that Barlborough is a victim of its own success!! You have cut the waiting lists.done too good a job so off you go!!
