About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended A&E department at Wishaw General a few weeks ago after an accident at work where I had a deep laceration to my right forearm. I required internal and external stitches. The care and attention that I received was 1st class. The nurse in charge of my care was Margaret, I would like to thank her for everything that she done for me and let her know that my wound is healing up nicely and doesn't look like I am going to be left with a big scar. This is all down to her expert care on that day.

Many thanks for taking the time to post feedback on the care you received whilst attending the Emergency Department here at Wishaw General Hospital.

I am so pleased that you found your experience a positive one and the staff will be delighted to read your kind words and will be happy to hear your updated progress.

The ED staff have a very difficult job, and carry this out with the patient being at the centre of everything.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this will be shared across the Emergency team here at Wishaw General Hospital, and to Margaret, whom you have personally named.
