I had to go to the beach regent care centre yesterday because I dislocated my shoulder - the pain was excruciating. When I got there the waiting room was full -and I thought I would be there for hours - the receptionist was fantastic, they got me straight into triage - the nurse was lovely- recognised how much pain I was in and took me straight round to the treatment area. The care I received was extremely efficient - took straight down for an X-ray- then a lovely nurse gave me pain relief and arranged an ambulance transfer to Oldham. The paramedics were lovely as well - gave me more pain relief. When I got to Idham the staff were fantastic - explained everything they were doing and then fixed my shoulder. I feel so fortunate that we have this service in our NHS and cannot thank the staff enough - I wish I'd took everyone's names so I could thank them personally. I am a nurse myself and have never had to be treated in an emergency situation - I was very scared and it was weird being a patient - I am extremely impressed.

It's a shame that unfortunately poeple misuse the service at urgent care and a&he, and then have the audacity to say they had to wait too long. Thankyou to each and everyone of you involved yesterday - I am sooooo grateful.
