"My mother's unexpected last few days with cancer"

About: City Health Care Partnership CIC / District nursing

(as a relative),

Charlotte was our district nurse by day and OMG what a little gem is she. Though not in the job very long, couple of years I think, she is in the perfect job.

She was just so compassionate towards our family who were in shock when our mother suddenly went downhill, literally, overnight. She was so proficient and capable and kept us in the loop at all times as we just didnt know what had hit us.

We tried feeding her chocolate cake for breakfast and there was constant humour which was just so important to us at this time. Charlotte I salute you, your kindness will never be forgotten and as we say in Ireland:

"May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields."

Dear Legal bunny,

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss and thank you so much for taking the time to tell us your story. It's lovely to hear that Charlotte was able to help at such a difficult time and we will make sure she reads your very kind words.

Thank you once again for your feedback,

Sue Baker, general manager for integrated community nursing
