"A & visit"

About: Manor Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was staying away over the easter weekend, and felt I was having a stroke. Staying in strange area unsure of where the local hospital is scary. However when I arrived the receptionist was very reassuring and kind (amazing at 6.30 am and had probably been there all nights they were all changing shift at 7am) within no time I had been assessed by a nurse and shown to a cubicle, very soon after a doctor came to examine me and confirmed it was in fact not a stroke. As it was changing of shift I was then visited by the day doctor who explained what had happened to me and sent me for a head scan. Throughout my waiting a lovely nurse constantly popped their head around the curtain to check on me and see if i needed anything. I felt very reassured by these kind and professional people and can't thank them enough. Must say the cleaners are amazing and do such a through job. The

NHS is fantastic we are so lucky.

Thank you for your kind words of appreciation. I will ensure that these are passed on to the team in A&E. I hope you are now feeling better.
