I was referred to a ten-week health and well being programme by the Cardiology department at the hospital, the ten-week course was held at St Peter’s Chapel.

The programme of exercise and talks on health and well being was brilliant, Eileen and Wendy were lovely nurses who made all the participants feel at ease and helped us all to gel together. The information they gave through the talks was great, simple and easy to understand and the exercises they showed us were very good. The nurses made me feel so good I really looked forward to each Tuesday when I knew I would be seeing them, and other people like me, getting the help and support we needed in such a friendly and helpful manner.

It is really great to hear how well you have enjoyed and benefitted from your cardiac rehab classes. I know there are lots of messages about exercise all around us but it is incredible how it can make you feel. I am sure the class was a good support to each other too.
