"I can't say thank you enough to the staff"

About: Queen's Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I only work in the area and live elsewhere so every time I have to be admitted to hospital it's my local. Never a good experience.

This time I was at work when things went wrong and was admitted to Queens hospital, after all the stories in papers it was the last place I wanted to go. But how WRONG was I! ! ! !

I was so greatful, staff prevented things from progressing to the point that I did not land in Diabetic Ketone Acidosis, not like previous hospital which I ended up staying 5 weeks. My partner was so impressed. The hospital was spotless, staff informed and knew what the were doing. I was then admitted into Clementine B ward where amazing treatment was received. Even when I felt better and wanted to go home staff said no until they are 100% happy with my condition. (Previous hospital would discharge me at 10pm sometimes).

I can't say thank you enough to the staff on that ward for everything. I ended up only staying 3days instead of 5 weeks.

This hospital deserves a bit more credit. Wish I could transfer to Queens Endocrine team. Think my care would be so much better and encouraging.

THANK YOU

I will ensure your feedback gets passed into them so that they are aware of your kind words. Once again thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.
