Went to, the GP about 3 months ago to see about getting my second hip replaced, only to be told that I won't be seen, even for examination, for ONE YEAR.
Meantime I am on strong painkillers, both long-acting and for acute pain, as well as paracetamol.
I am routinely unable to sleep, I fall once every three months or so because I cannot take weight on my bad leg if I trip. I am unable to carry out even light housework without being in severe pain for hours.
Oh, and in spite of being unable to carry out any of my hobbies (walking, dog training, horse riding) I have been warned against gaining weight or I will be bumped further.
Angry and frustrated is putting it mildly.
