"A&E waiting"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Accident and emergency

This trust would be a joke if it wasn't so serious.

Patients have been sitting in the A&E waiting room unseen for over 5 hours.

I understand and expect that emergencies take precedence but to leave patients In severe pain with no analgesia is unacceptable.

No-one minds waiting for more seriously ill patients to be seen but they do mind waiting in pain

The Trust, like many others across the country, has seen a huge increse in patients attending A&E. We aim to treat all patients witihn 4 hours, but unfortunately delays can occur, for which we apologise.

We would be pleased to arange to investigated specific concerns upon receipt of the appropriate details.
