"Excellent facilities for inpatient ..."

What I liked

Excellent facilities for inpatient amputee rehabiliation. I wonder if there are better facilties?

Community feeling within inpatients assisted by shared physio and mealtimes.

Good tie up between the various specialists, consultant, doctor, physio, OT and nursing.

What could be improved

generally nursing care was good with some high quality staff, but messages weren't always passed and sometimes the patient needed to inform staff of the current direction. Access to prosthetists was great on site but sometimes I felt that they should be clearer about their appointments and time keeping. One felt at times that one had to pin them down to a time for the next consultation.

Anything else?

I would heartily recommend these facilities to other amputees,
