Almost 3 years ago now my daughter was transferred to the children's hospital at the LGI.
we had been in hospital in Halifax for almost 4 weeks with our daughter who has cystic fibrosis with a nasty infection in her lungs and we were no closer to findifinding out what the infection was. After a consultation with the Doctors here at the c. f. unit the decision was made to transfer her to Leeds.
What an absolutely marvellous decision that was we were here for 4 days and the infection was identified and medication was prescribed to treat it and though we were here for almost 8 weeks those 8 weeks were rough with traveling back and forward between Halifax and Leeds it was eased with how amazing the nurses and staff on ward 30 were every minute of every day we had to stay.
Over these last 3 year's we have spent quite a lot of time here as our daughter is prone to nasty chest infections but all the tine we are here the staff are brilliant. they are amazing people
