"Urgent ophthalmology out patients"

I had an urgent referral to ophthalmology at Barnsley out patients, from the start, the efficiency was amazing! I had thoughts from 'this is nothing', to 'oh my goodness Im going blind!!' But as soon as I saw the nurses, they told me what to expect and not to worry. The Matron was there and they were checking everyone was happy and talking to the staff, they were lovely, it just made me feel so secure, they were all so professional I instantly relaxed!

The doctor was quick and before I knew it Id got my drops and a huge smile on my face! Wow! What an experience. I know we dont value the NHS enough and people are so ready to criticise because its taken for granted, so I thought Id share my experience. What it will do Ive no idea, but I could give them all a big kiss! The confidence and assurance you all gave me .....well, all the money in the World couldnt pay for it.
