What I liked
I had to visit the hospital to access the Minor Injuries Department as I had suffered a fall from my wheelchair.
The Sister on duty treated me with sincere compassion, respect and dignity, and was careful and thorough in her examination and diagnsis of my injury.
I had to use the x-ray department, where, again, I found the staff sympathetic and competent.
My x-ray results were immedeately accessible, and my treatment options discussed before I was treated - again, with great competency and care.
An appointment was booked with the relevant Consultant straightway.
I cannot fault the service and care I received.
My faith in hospitals has been somewhat restored following some disasterous experiences in other hospitals, earlier in the year!
What could be improved
I wasn't sure if the staff had heard the doorbell, when I first arrived!
The sign on the door says to 'only ring once' as, understandably, nurses could be occupied, but after waiting a considerable time, I did ring again, as I wasn't sure the bell had actually worked inside the building.
Anything else?
No.
A big thank you to all concerned!
