"No communication and silence after MRI scan"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I had an MRI scan on the 8 th March 2017. On the 17th March I phoned to be told "the results had not been written up yet- it will be another 2 to 3 weeks"

So who is responsible for the lack of communication? Surely it is possible to give me a follow up appointment before the MRI results are received by the consultant?

Now I wait and wait. Will anyone ever contact me to tell me the results?

This is just bad management.
