Iv never felt so safe and cared for! Honestly I have nothing but praise for each and every member of staff in day surgery on shift today

My time here from the beginning was dealt with in the most friendly and professional manner.

The attention to detail. The constant checking of blood pressure. Everything.

I get the feeling that the staff here are very happy and must have a great leader. Someone who cares for them as they deserve! It reflects well in the way the team worked together.

Private health care have a run for their money with this lot.

I could go on all day. Will be telling all my family and friends about my time here.

My nurse that was lauren cam. Lovely lovely. She had a bad cold but I wouldn't have known because she didn't let this effect her work at all.

Very happy lady here. Thanks so much for making this surgery a pleasant experience. Except for the pain of course.

Dear Sunny Sun Shine,

Thank you very much for aknowledging so many great aspects of your care within the Day Surgery Unit at QMH. We all appreciate feedback from patients and when it confirms we are giving safe, professional and friendly care, it is a great feeling. As nurses it is what we strive to do every day to make a patients experience be the best it can be and this can be very challenging at times. The whole team involved in the patient journey make the effort to have a calming influence on what we understand can be an anxious time for patients and their loved ones. As a leader you try your best to look after your staff to ensure they are happy and motivated and feel able to deliver such good care. I will pass on your post to all the Day Surgery Staff, Lauren will be exceptionally pleased to be mentioned, including that you've appreciated the fact that her cold has not affected her compassion. Thank you once again for taking the time to comment and please feel free to continue to tell everyone about your experience. A good news story is always a welcome and it is very much appreciated. For future, we need to work on how to perform surgery without causing any pain.
