About: The Maidstone Hospital / Accident and emergency

I went to Maidstone A&E on Tuesday night with a severe eye infection. I waited less than 10 minutes to see the nurse who immediately recognised my condition and the need for intravenous antibiotics. Within one hour I had blood tests and the intravenous antibiotics an eyesight examination and in addition the doctor spoke to an ophthalmic consultant to ensure I could go home with medication

The service was professional, thorough and extremely caring and I was back home two hours later. What lovely staff as well who do a fantastic job. Well done and thank you.
