I was admitted for 4 nights for a major operation. My complaints are listed as below.
1/ The old meal trays left in my room for two and a half hours after meal time had finished was a regular occurrence.
2/ Medicine/tablets given to me but not logged, so other staff try to give me the tablets again 4 times
3/ Staff did not know the relevant information regarding the Morphine self administrating apparatus
.
4/ Intravenous drip allowed to run out (regularly) allowing blood to travel back up the line.
5/ Drinks of tea ordered on 2 separate occasions but never turned up.
6/
Did not see see a doctor prior to being discharged. but asked me "loaded" questions to get me out as they had that room booked for someone else and I could not stay. Even though I couldn't eat, and had been violently sick that morning.
There answer is "Your sats are ok so you can go home, cant you"..
