"Helpful staff"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Plastic surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

I had to accompany a patient to the burns unit on several occasions. I frankly found your sign posting very unhelpful (try finding you way from the burns unit to either the in-patient or out-patient pharmacy). However when ever I asked for help from staff (and some seeing me looking puzzled approached me) they went to great trouble to help. This included staff from some of your sub-contractors such as the maintenance teams. Such acts of helpfulness make a tremendous difference when one is stressed and anxious.
