"I cannot praise the staff enough"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency East Surrey Hospital / Cardiology South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to East Surrey hospital yesterday by ambulance suffering from a really low pulse and blood pressure. Within an hour of her being admitted, a pacemaker was being fitted. Her condition was very serious - something we were not aware of until her treatment had been completed. I cannot praise the ambulance staff, the A&E staff and the cardiology staff enough. Mum's treatment was outstanding. Thank you everyone.

Dear Surrey resident

I am delighted that we were able to offer your mother a responsive service. The teams work very hard to make sure patients receive the care they need in a timely way.

I wish your mother well and a speedy recovery

kind regards

Nicola Shopland

Divisional Chief Nurse Medicine
