I attended Dr Docherty's cardiology clinic when he told me I would require an admission to drain some fluid from my lung. Within two weeks I was admitted in to Ward 4 at Wishaw General Hospital in the evening time and by lunch time the following day my procedure was done and I had the fluid drained. I would have been discharged the next day however my heart was racing (a condition I have from before admission). This required me to stay a further night and I was discharged the following day. I cannot praise the kind doctors and nurses enough for their care, attention and reassurance. They really go the extra mile, especially one staff nurse in particular who personally dropped my tablets off at my house after I had forgotten to lift them.
Overall I had a very good experience and would like to thank all staff involved in my care.
