My son is a drug addict and an alcoholic. Last year he started losing the ability to speak or walk, these episodes came on suddenly and lasted for quite a while. Recently they have started again. A week ago he had an episode which left him severely bruised and with other injuries. I made an appointment to see a GP and accompanied him. He was told to go for blood test which he did and was later told by the doctor that there was an abnormality with his blood and that he would contact his support worker at Inclusion.
This was not done and now it has become clear that both the this GP and the support worker have gone on holiday. Owing to this I persuaded my son to see another GP today. Well low and behold according to my son the doctor told him they didn't know what to do as the GP he had previously seen was on holiday. Not only that but the doctor also gave him a prescription for sleeping tablets. So he has not only has been fobbed off and yet again but can now take these tablets on top of what he already has. What kind of support is this and where is this going to get my son.
