"I went to the GP walk in appointment ..."

About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

What I liked

I went to the GP walk in appointment as i had an allergic reaction to an insect bite, on arrival i was spoken to by a staff nurse and receptionist at the desk who were fantastic in answering my questions and explaining the system.

I was seen promptly by a senior nurse for triage who thoroughly examined me, took my history and advised me of the next step.

I was finally seen by a doctor and nurse practitioner together who were both fantastic in every aspect of the care they provided.

To say i am not a patient and have never attended Ilkeston Hospital myself previously i was shocked at the speed and efficiency of the staff, i can't fault them at all...and with free parking right outside the door as well!!

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing.
