I waited 2 hours; When I saw a nurse I raised the concern that I may have an STD. I was then told to wait another hour to discuss this with another nurse. Having done so, she told me she would not be able to test, treat or comment. She explained the reason that I was told to wait by saying the other nurse may have been embarrassed to discuss it. How should a health care professional be embarrassed to discuss a medical diagnosis?
