"Medical Ward 1. Care, compassion, professionalism."

My husband was in Medical Ward 1 with complex needs, including having brain damage. He wasn't an easy patient, but the staff were superb. Everyone: cleaners, nurses, care assistants, catering staff .......

Without exception, they were wonderful. They all made an effort to understand Tim and respond to him in the most appropriate manner. They didn't just look after him but made a point of caring for me too. When the end came, they made it as comfortable for both of us as possible. If you're going to loose someone dear to you, try to let it happen at the West Cornwall hospital, Medial Ward 1. I couldn't recommend this ward too highly.
