"Great staff in pacemaker clinic"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was in so much pain I was crying with it I had it over 6 months my new husband took me to Skegness A&E they did not sort my problem out I was told I need to go to Lincoln there was something wrong with my heart.

I was told that I needed a pacemaker fitted as you may know it shocked me and my new husband he came home and cried I was in hospital for six days. They did the op on a Friday and I was home the next day. I went to pacemaker clinic 6 weeks after op and nothing needed doing.

Then before Christmas I was visiting my son and we had a car accident I was in so much pain in my left shoulder I got checked over by ambulance man. He did an ECG what was on but he said any trouble go to A&E. Then after new year I was in A&E for 5 hours and had to have the next day off work. I got asked to go into pacemaker clinic at Lincoln and saw a man called Chris Tandy. He had a chat to see what happens And to see if pacemaker was working ok which it was. Then I had another due but this time felt so tired and crying all the time I didn't want the pacemaker in. Chris called me into clinic again and showed me a trace of my heart reading he also explained that pacemaker need tweaking.

He is there if you need to chat to him or have any problems I think all hospital should have a Chris.
