Our dear Dad died in the East Surrey Hospital's emergency care area. He was looked after with such understanding and dignity, the empathy and time that was given to him, and my brother and I was amazing.
The area was busy, but the staff were calm and took such time with us.
He was admitted in the morning, he sadly died in the afternoon, however in that time the staff appeared to understand his personality, his humour and kindness, even though he was too ill to communicate.
I was incredibly moved by the professionalism and personal care given. I've no idea how the staff manage this, but am so grateful that you do.
