"Chaplaincy Department"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I like the assemblies which Chaplaincy organise and I like seeing the chaplains on the ward. When they come and see me, they help me to learn about God and think about my cats and dogs. We sometimes pray for my cats and dogs and when we do this, I think that God sends a message to those who I have prayed for. I liked the pet service for this reason. God watches over my pets for me whilst I am here.

My little nan and little grandad, who are in heaven, watch over me whilst here in St Andrews Healthcare.

I like the Songs of Peace organised by the Chaplaincy department, especially the music. However some other people are distracting and I think it would be better if we did it in smaller groups.

Thank you for your response and it is good to see that you have found our assemblies helpful. Pets obviously mean a lot to your wellbeing so the pet service has obviously been an interest of yours!

The feedback you have given us about our Christian worship service called Songs of Peace is very useful, and we have taken on board what you have said to see if we can make it less distracting for you.
