"I had a wisdom tooth removed after ..."

What I liked

I had a wisdom tooth removed after a referal by my normal dentist. I was impressed after my first consultation, and was booked in for a month later. All the information I have recieved has been accurate, and although the procedure was always going to be unpleasant, staff did there best to make me feel comfortable, and ensured they carried out an excellent job.

What could be improved

The waiting areas and appearance of some of the areas of your hospital do not do that hospital justice. At first I was concerned with the shabby appearance of things - especially the 2nd floor waiting area. Everywhere was vary clean including the toilets, but the level of care you recieve is exceptional, and is not matched by what looks like a hospital stuck in the 1970's. Thankyou to your staff, nurses and doctors.

Thank you for your feedback and I am pleased that you had the information you required, that the clinicians were able to make you comfortable, and that you feel the treatment was excellent.

I am sorry that you found that the waiting room and some other areas did not meet the standard you would expect. We do appreciate that some waiting areas are in need of attention and work has already begun in the hospital to upgrade waiting areas. It is often difficult to maintain the cleanliness of toilets which are used by so many patients throughout the day, however your comments have been passed to the appropriate manager for action.
