(as the patient),

The breastfeeding support workers are invaluable!

Breastfeeding is so tough and no one prepares you for this. I struggled and had a lot of help.

Most recently from Nicola at Chilwell sure start centre. She was incredible.

She took time to chat to us during the baby group session then offered some private time after during the breastfeeding group. She took us into another room and sat with us on a sofa. She listened, questioned, offered advice and encouragement. I left feeling much better about myself and the situation. She also called the following week to see how I was getting on. She saved me that week.

This is a vital service and it must always be available.

I am so pleased to hear you have received an excellent service from the Children's Centre, the staff are always here to help in any way they can and it is always great to hear when someone has had a positive experience. Thank you again for your kind words and positive comments.
