What I liked

Our daughter, who is diabetic, became ill an was treated first in A&E and then in Douglas Ward. First the Ambulance staff, and later the Doctors and Nurses who dealt with her, introduced themselves by name, and said what their role was. We were kept informed of all tests, treatments etc, and what they were for. All our questions were answered promptly, and we were not kept waiting unnecessarily. All staff were helpful and concerned, but above all professional.

The staff who changed beds, served meals etc, were friendly and very helpful, and the food was good.

Anything else?

It was unfortunate that our daughter became ill on a weekend visit to London, but the treatment and care she got at St Marys could not have been better, and we appreciate it very much.
