"Poor service"

I am so disappointed, yesterday I brought my mother as a transfer from the GP,she is known diabetic, hypertension, kidney impairment and has been diagnosed with gallstones by the private scan which was the main reason she was transferred. When we got to the hospital we had to wait from10h30-15h30 to get the file and she was only seen after 16h00 in casualty by few Drs who were busy focusing on reading her file and the scan& blood results we brought with us instead of examining her, then on Dr took bloods from her and was discharged thereafter without waiting for the blood results.A sister told me she has been discharged with TTO which I should fetch the following day because pharmacy was already closed. When I asked one of the nurses what TTO Dr wrote he told me it was panado&buscopan which were also written up as a stat dose which she never had.now am sitting here at home with her in so much pain and no painkillers helping. How I wish someone explained to me what to do next.

Hello,

Thank you for your posting and I am sorry that you were unhappy with the service provided to your mother. Please contact me directly, as I am unsure which service you are referring to at King Edward V11 Hospital. We can then discuss this in greater detail and provide you with a full response.

If your mother continues to experience pain ,please contact her GP. Alternatively, you could contact 111.111 is the NHS non-emergency number and you can speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your mother's symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for her.NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones. If it is an emergency, please dial 999.

Yours Sincerely,
