What I liked

The Day and Night Nurses for their outstanding care, kindness and willingness to help and give advise pre and post op.

Also the respect that they had for the Gyaenacologist consultant/surgeon and his amazing friendly team. The Aneathasist who did his upmost to make me feel calm and looked after me, amazingly I didn't feel unwell when I woke up but incredibiliy well! He also came to see me the next day to see how I was which was really caring of him.

The catering staff who recommended delicious soup when I wasn't hungry, just like having your mum around!

The Gyaenacologist for explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions and for taking care of me during my operation. He also took time out to phone me the next morning when he couldn't get in due to the snow; to explain the operation and see how I was.

What could be improved

More liaison with patient records and notes.

Not sure how the administration works in the central filing system of patient records in private health care; but during my consultation the Consultant didn't have my blood test results and the Cat scan Xrays infront of him. This may have been due to the cross over of consultants but I'm sure he does not want to waste his consultancy time chasing results and patient information.

Anything else?

Overall my visit this time at Droitwich was outstanding all the staff, including the Consultants, Nurses, catering staff and receptionists could not have been more welcoming, friendly and a caring team.

Was quite happy being snowed in!
