What I liked

The centre was very clean, tidy and inviting. Refreshments were available if required.

What could be improved

My partner was an outpatient for an endoscopy. We were told he would be sedated, the procedure would take around 10mins and 20mins in recovery. After over an hour of him being taken for the procedure and not hearing anything i asked what was happening at reception. The Nurse went to find out. She returned and told me his Blood Pressure had dropped very low and he was still having the procedure done. She told me they would let me know when he came out. 40 Minutes later my partner stumbled into the lounge, still fairly sedated and told me he could go home.

I think when a patient is going to be longer than planned, anyone with the patient should be kept informed. I was very worried especially after being told him BP was low and i was shocked when he just re-appeared.

Anything else?

Overall, the care my parner received was very good. However, please keep us worried visitors updated!
