What I liked

I was treated at the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre for an ACL reconstruction - all aspects of my treatment from diagnosis to surgery and follow ups with the surgeon have all been in the same building with all the same faces - there was never any sense of being passed around and everybody was friendly. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital. What I have appreciated the most is that, when my physio felt my recovery was a bit slow he contacted the surgeon who immediately scheduled an adhoc follow up a couple of days later and got me a scan etc to check up to identify the problem - which turned out to be nothing! Very impressed, and also the turn around from initial consultation and scan to surgery was 3 weeks - would have been 10 days but I was unavailable.

Dr Tamas Kustos deserves a special mention in dispatches for his handiwork and general manner - made me feel at ease with the whole procedure and is genuinely interested in my recovery, not just a "Successful Procedure"
