"cleanliness - there was a sticky ..."

What could be improved

cleanliness - there was a sticky patch by the person i was visiting's bed, for over 2 days, and wasnt cleaned. CARE -the nurses didnt treat patients with respect and were rude and snapped at them. They didnt seem bothered. when a patient pressed their buzzer it took at least 5 mins for them to answer and leisurly stroll down to find out what the problem was. The patients in other beds were complaining about the care they were being given and were not happy. The bed was kept raised up to stop the patient lying down in the day! Attitudes of staff were not nice and i was not impressed with the level of care! a patient went to the toilet and pressed the buzzer for help, noone came so he had to struggle, with a broken arm, which was not in his sling! then the nurse finally came to the toilet, saw urine on the floor and said 'eurgh'. She did not bother to see who needed help and who was sat in wet clothes.

Anything else?

The staff just didnt seem to care and the patients didnt matter to them!
