"Stay of Elderly relative on Ewehurst Ward"

We are writing to express our appreciation for the fantastic care that was given to 94 year old Nona during her convalesce on Ewehurst Ward following her injury due to a serious fall.

It would have been very easy to have simply written Nona off because of her age but all our family members were struck by the kindness and consideration given to Nona throughout her stay by every member of the hospital team that we came into contact with, whether that was doctors, nursing staff, porters or the cheerful cleaning staff!

It is a tribute to the caring culture of the hospital that all staff felt it was their duty to present a caring face to Nona and she, still being a very bright lady, appreciated this very much indeed.
